Overview

Labtro Planetary Ball Mill LT-PBM102 is a high-energy laboratory grinding system designed for fine grinding, mixing, homogenization and material dispersion. Four grinding jars are mounted on a rotating planetary disk. During operation, the main disk revolves around its central axis while each grinding jar rotates in the opposite direction. This combined planetary motion creates high centrifugal forces, causing the grinding balls to repeatedly impact, compress and shear the sample. The touchscreen controller allows the operator to set the operating time, speed and forward/reverse grinding sequence. After the selected cycle is completed, the machine stops automatically and the processed material can be removed from the grinding jars.
