Bilirubinometer LT-BM101

Bilirubinometer LT-BM101

Bilirubinometer LT-BM101 measures total bilirubin by analyzing the optical properties of a small blood sample. The collected blood is placed in a disposable 75 mm capillary tube and prepared for measurement. The analyzer directs light through the plasma using its bi-chromatic optical system. Measurements are taken at 450 nm and 578 nm to evaluate bilirubin-related color intensity. The reference wavelength helps compensate for background interference in the sample. The detected light signals are converted into an electrical measurement by the photometric system. The analyzer compares the measured optical response with the stored calibration reference. It then calculates the total bilirubin concentration from the difference between the two wavelength readings. The final result is shown clearly on the backlit LCD. A built-in thermal printer can immediately print the measured result for documentation. RS232 connectivity allows the result data to be transferred to an external system when required.
