Microbial Identification System LT-MIS101

Microbial Identification System LT-MIS101

Labtro Microbial Identification System LT-MIS101 is an automated mass spectrometry platform designed for rapid identification of microorganisms using Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). It analyzes characteristic microbial protein mass fingerprints and automatically compares the acquired spectrum with reference spectra stored in its microbial database to determine microorganism identity. The system can detect a single sample in as little as 6 seconds and process up to 96 samples within 10 minutes. Its clinical database covers bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria and filamentous fungi, while an independent research library supports rare and high-risk microorganisms. A 96 + 6 position target plate, automated quality control, automated chamber-door operation and sampling platform streamline routine workflow. The analyzer uses a 337 nm nitrogen laser, provides a mass range of 1–300 kDa, and incorporates mechanical and turbomolecular vacuum pumps for stable mass analysis.
